How the Most Embarrassing Situation can be Empowering

I could feel my face burning with embarrassment…

With what seemed like forever.

I can still hear my brother’s remark about all the books plied up on the floor, “Sis, I think it’s time to go to digital books!”

To this old school babe digital is a sacrilege!

But as I looked around at the piles and piles of books, notebooks and papers, I had to admit, he was kinda right.

My office is a Hot Mess!

That’s when the overwhelm and cycle of quitting shook me at my core.

My world was crumbling in around me…No clients, No money and No fun.

It’s not pretty.paperwork

When things get tough, the tough reach out and ask for help (I hate asking for help). Cuz, my best thinking got me here … to this Hell.

Taking action is the fastest way out of you self-made hell hole so I called a friend who supported me to get a handyman to build shelves in my closet.

Which he did. Pronto.

The next day I began The Big Toss.

This went on for 3 days (which seemed like eternity) and on the 4 th day she rested.

I feel great! My mojo is back, my vibe and excitement have returned (Halleluiah).

Then the miracles started to happen.

Great conversations with prospective clients ready to book. Opportunities for more client referrals and out of the blue, a possibility to speak at an event where 4,000 people attend every year.

That’s the power of restoring integrity.

Freakin’ cleaning your room, office or closets can absolutely create clients and money.

In fact clearing the clutter just might be the fastest way to restore your mojo.

Don’t take my word for it. Try it out yourself and see what happens!

Rebel Tip: Sometimes this is straight communication or liberating your spirit rather than clutter in your physical space it might be in your psyche.

I’d love to hear your stories of how you generated what you wanted by cleaning something up and clearing the clutter.
